The Shared Table

Our Christmas event was held at the Callander Youth Project Hostel with catering by the Brig O Turk Tea rooms using local food from Achray Farm, which followed on nicely from our previous event.

A member of our group (who joined at the previous event) made the Christmas tree from recycled wooden pallets and we held a “ Recycla-bauble Competition” inviting people to make Christmas Tree decorations from waste materials.

Our keynote speaker spoke of personal experiences “Demystifying Heat Pumps” and there were 3 workshops on heatpumps, Stitchcraft and build and feed a composter.

A range of other local organisations had information stalls.
