The Callander Resilience Group is a subgroup of Climate Action Callander intended to help raise awareness of actions and services available to locals in the event of an emergency.

Group members also discuss the steps Callander locals will need to make in the future to take preventative measures.

To improve our understanding of our river catchment we commissioned an academic study which was used to promote discussion with both statutory organisations and with our community.

We also had an embedded artist who helped capture key terms from these conversations as visual flashcards. These will provide an on-going visual reminder of the importance of managing our water and are also helpful when discussing resilience in the context of flood risk.
